This episode focuses on the horrific crimes of Gary Heidrik who in 1986,  kidnapped 6 women and kept them prisoner in his Philadelphia basement for over a year before finally being caught when one of his captives brilliantly convinced Heidrik to let her go… Heidnik was sentenced to death and executed by lethal injection in July 1999.
