Until her prison death in 2002, Myra Hindley was recognized as ‘the most hated woman in Britain’. The public hatred towards her was so intense, that after she was arrested w/ boyfriend Ian Brady’s in 1966, for the murders & rapes of 5 children, the name ‘Myra’ almost disappeared from UK society.
